In the role of a Qualcomm Systems Engineer, you will engage in research, design, development, simulation, and/or validation of systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions that support the advancement of state-of-the-art technology.
Qualcomm Systems Engineers work in collaboration with various functional teams to achieve and surpass system-level requirements and standards.
Responsibilities :
✔️Designing computer vision and image processing solutions tailored for mobile devices.
✔️Creating and assessing algorithms intended for implementation in hardware on software prototypes.
✔️Enhancing or refining image processing and computer vision algorithms for hardware acceleration.
✔️Assisting product teams in the commercialization process, including solution optimization, performance profiling, and benchmarking.
✔️Providing support for regression testing and release management.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
✔️A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline, accompanied by a minimum of three years of experience in Systems Engineering or a comparable field.
✔️A Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with at least two years of experience in Systems Engineering or a similar role.
✔️A PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of one year of experience in Systems Engineering or a related position.
✔️Candidates should possess over ten years of relevant experience.
✔️Proficiency in C/C++ and expertise in computer vision/image processing are essential.
✔️Familiarity with camera technology and machine learning/deep learning is advantageous.
✔️Experience in embedded/ARM programming is beneficial but not mandatory.
Preferred Requirements :
✔️Familiarity or practical experience with Vision or Multimedia accelerators.
✔️Experience in image processing algorithms.
✔️Understanding or hands-on experience with computer vision algorithms.
✔️Proficient knowledge of data structures and practical experience in C/C++ programming.
✔️Experience in software optimization utilizing various SIMD and multi-threading techniques.
