Responsibilities :
✔️Create, develop, and implement system software solutions while participating in company-wide initiatives aimed at addressing Supportability challenges within the realm of Enterprise Storage Software and Distributed Systems.
✔️Enhance the Supportability of PowerScale by developing features for OneFS, thereby reducing the overall effort needed by the company to resolve customer-reported issues.
✔️Engage in collaboration both within your scrum team and with external teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle to ensure the utilization of common components and the construction of optimized solutions of the highest quality.
Essential Requirements :
✔️A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in developing high-quality production code for various products or services.
✔️Proficient in C/C++ and Python, with strong skills in design, coding, and debugging.
✔️Demonstrated expertise in software architecture, design, implementation, testing, debugging, and problem-solving.
✔️In-depth knowledge of Linux operating system concepts and subsystems, including processes/threads, memory management, and contention issues.
✔️A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience. Experience in working within an Agile/Scrum framework is essential.
Desirable Requirements :
✔️Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with a solid understanding of API development concepts and familiarity with REST and HTTP protocols.
✔️A keen interest in artificial intelligence and a desire to integrate AI into the product offerings.
