Qualification : Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/B Tech) with a specialization in Telecommunication, Instrumentation, or Electronics.
Location : Hadapsar, Pune
Responsibilities :
- To contribute to a team that specializes in Technical Proposals and Engineering support for Telecommunications and Industrial Security Systems.
- Analyze and comprehend the Requests for Proposals (RFPs) related to telecom and security systems, and develop the necessary design and engineering documentation.
- Tasked with assessing various Vendor Bills of Materials (BOM) and solutions, engaging in discussions with multiple vendors to determine the most suitable solution for the project requirements.
- Maintain proactive communication with all stakeholders in a timely manner to finalize the proposed solution.
- Conduct a comprehensive review of the solution to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Accountable for delivering technical proposals, designs, and engineering documentation punctually, adhering to the established schedule.
- Manage multiple projects and Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) processes concurrently.
Technical skills & knowledge :
- A minimum of 6 years of practical experience is required in the following areas:
- Industrial projects encompassing Radio Systems, Networking, IP Telephony, Access Control, CCTV, Public Address and General Alarm (PAGA), RADAR, and Passive systems, specifically in Design and Engineering roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge in the Design and Engineering of Radio Systems, including VHF Marine, VHF Aeronautical, UHF Operational, and VSAT Communications Systems.
- In addition to expertise in Radio Systems, familiarity with TSI design systems such as Passenger Information Display Systems (PIDS), Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS), Entertainment Systems, CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), PAGA, RADAR, and SONAR is considered advantageous.
- Proficiency in Control Room design and ATEX systems is essential.
- Candidates should possess at least 2-3 years of experience in site commissioning of Industrial Telecom and Security solutions, particularly with Radio System commissioning.
- Possession of product certifications in Radio and Networking, as well as CCNA certification, is a valuable asset.
